Federico Kia is proud to offer the all-new 2023 Kia Sportage. Once you set your eyes on this attractive and innovative small SUV, you’ll instantly fall in love with its daring styling, impressive performance and it’s long list of safety and technology features.

You’ll have seven trim levels to choose from: LX, EX, X-Line AWD, SX, SX Prestige, Sportage X-Pro, and Sportage X-Pro Prestige. Each trim comes well-equipped with the latest in tech and safety features, so you won’t be disappointed no matter which one you choose.

Exterior Design

2023 Kia Sportage

Put the 2023 Kia Sportage next to last year’s model and you’ll see just how much the model changed in just one year. There’s all-new styling throughout the small SUV, but it’s the bold front fascia that’ll get your attention. The grille is in-your-face and the headlight placement is a bit unusual, but the overall design is unforgettable in so many ways.

The rest of the design is sleek, modern, and quite sophisticated for a small SUV. Select models feature tasteful black cladding and a black roof with raised roof rails for a more rugged appearance. The X-Pro trims also receive beefy all-terrain tires and matte black alloys to complete the outdoorsy look. The 2023 Sportage already has ample ground clearance, but the Sportage X-Pro delivers an impressive 8.3 inches of it for spirited off-road travel.

Interior and Tech Features

2023 Sportage

Step inside the 2023 Kia Sportage and you’ll find an interior that’s quite unlike anything you’ve seen so far from the Kia brand. The all-new dashboard features an expansive digital display. An optional 12.3-inch dual panoramic display with navigation is also available on select trims. The interior itself features an available two-tone design that’s tasteful and sophisticated. Seat trim options alternate between standard cloth and Kia’s Syntex synthetic leatherette upholstery.

A longer wheelbase also means more room for passengers and cargo. The 2023 Sportage boasts more rear-seat legroom, plus 40 cubic feet of cargo space for all of your luggage and gear. The rear cargo area also features a nifty split-level system that lets you keep your more valuable items out of plain sight. There are plenty of neat features to fall in love with, including the rear passenger seat-side USB-C charging ports and front seats that are heated and ventilated on select trims.

The 2023 Kia Sportage gives you two methods of motivation, starting with its standard gasoline engine. The 2.5-liter naturally-aspirated I4 delivers an ample 187 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque. It’s enough to get the job done for the everyday commute, plus you’ll get up to 28 mpg combined (25 mpg city/32 mpg highway) in return. An 8-speed automatic transmission handles shifting duties for this drivetrain.

For 2023, the Sportage trades its top-ranging turbocharged engine for a hybrid variant that’s also turbocharged, but much more efficient. The 1.6-liter mill relies on an electric motor and battery to deliver an impressive 226 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This drivetrain delivers an impressive 43 mpg combined, making it the one to choose for those who value exceptional fuel efficiency on their everyday commutes.

The 2023 Sportage also comes in a plug-in hybrid form with AWD as standard. This variant uses the hybrid’s drivetrain but trades the electric motor for a more advanced type and a larger battery. The result is an estimated 32-mile range on the battery alone. Surprisingly enough, the plug-in hybrid delivers the same amount of torque as the regular hybrid, but with more horsepower – 261 horses, to be exact.

2023 Sportage

The 2023 Sportage is no slouch when it comes to safety. In fact, the Sportage boasts a wide variety of innovative safety and driver assistance features, including automatic high beam headlights, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane following assist, and rear cross-traffic collision avoidance. These features come standard as part of the Kia Drive Wise safety and driver assistance suite.

The available Remote Smart Parking Assist feature comes in handy for squeezing into and out of tight spaces. The innovative feature manages steering input, vehicle speed, and gear selection at low speeds, all with the help of multiple sensors. Meanwhile, the available Blind-Spot View Monitor shows a live view of the SUV’s blind spots on the dashboard, right in your line of sight.
